Flying

I hold a private pilot's licence (PPL) with Night Qualification and an Instrument Meterological Conditions (IMC) rating (flying in cloud). I currently have about 140 hours total time. At the moment I'm flying Cessna 172 aircraft of the Cambridge Aero Club based at Cambridge Airport.

Last summer I completed a 302nm flight with two intermediate landings (as per the pre-CPL requirement), visiting Bembridge on the Isle of Wight and Lydd (near Ashford in Kent). Other fields I've visited include Fairoaks, Southend, Norwich, Old Warden and Wycombe/Booker.
